Delicious wine, aromatic and fruity with tones of oak. Great for summer.
With the Philibert du Charme Reserve Spéciale Chardonnay, a first-class white wine enters the wine glass. It has a wonderfully clear, golden-yellow color. This white wine from the Languedoc It has wonderfully expressive aromas of pineapple, star fruit, apple, and papaya, rounded off with cocoa bean, vanilla, and oriental spices, contributed by aging in wooden barrels. This white wine from Maison de La Villette is for all wine lovers who want as little residual sugar in the wine as possible. On the palate, this balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly dense and crisp texture. Nice and full-bodied, to put it bluntly! In the finish, this cellarable white wine from the Languedoc inspires with good length. There are again hints of pineapple and nashi pear. This beautiful wine is delicious in combination with foie gras (which is actually no longer allowed), pasta carbonara, and smoked fish.
This Philibert du Charme is a surprising Chardonnay. Produced in the Languedoc by the passionate winemaking couple Laurent and Catherine Delauney. With their experience in the New World of wine and their roots in Burgundy, they craft flavorful wines with great passion.
This wine is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes. The grapes come from vineyards located in the southwest of France at the foot of the Pyrenees. These are blended with grapes from Mediterranean coastal regions. The grapes have enjoyed plenty of sunshine, and you can taste it! The grapes ferment for 10 to 12 days in French and American oak, creating a hint of vanilla. Afterwards, the wine ages for another 6 months “sur lie,” which means the wine develops in its own yeast and the flavor deepens. Due to the early bottling of the wine, it retains its freshness and pleasant primary aromas.
Maison de la Villette It is named after an old district in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. In the past, Paris was supplied with food and wine from this district. The supplies were brought to Paris by horse, ox, or boat. Today, La Villette in Paris is still one of the most visited tourist attractions.
The goal of the winemakers at Maison de la Villette is to create a wine with an authentic French look for drinkers worldwide. Additionally, they aim to produce a flavorful wine in attractive and reliable packaging with a romantic French aesthetic that also represents the quality of the wine. They achieve this by giving the bottles and labels a traditional French appearance, for example, featuring an image of the river that supplies Paris from the La Villette district.
