The Tenuta Giustini Costiero Rosato is a crystal-clear rosé with an elegant style. The beautiful lines on the label are a reference to the sea. The vineyard from which the grapes for this Rosato originate is located just a stone's throw from the sea. Situated in the beautiful Salento in Puglia, where the sun shines brightly and the summers are hot, the grapes can make good use of the cooling effect of the sea! Tenuta Giustini describes the incessant rhythm of the waves as merging with the recurring rhythm of the vines. For this Rosato, 100% Negroamaro used. Aromas of cherries fill the nose with fresh strawberry and apple. The taste is full and intense, fruity and juicy with a pleasant minerality.

The Negroamaro grapes grow on a subsoil of mixed clay. This allows the soil to retain sufficient water for the vines to survive the dry, hot days. In the last week of September, the grapes have reached optimal ripeness and can be harvested. Immediately after harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and crushed, ensuring the skins are in brief contact with the juice. This gives the wine just enough color for the rosé and imparts the delicious cherry aromas typical of Negroamaro wine. Subsequently, the grapes ferment at a controlled temperature. The wine then ages in stainless steel tanks to preserve optimal fruitiness and freshness.

Born on the coast, this Rosato is the perfect candidate to pair with anything from the sea! From fresh fish to fried or roasted fish and fish soup; the Costiero can handle it all! The Costiero Rosato also pairs perfectly with typical Italian starters and aged cheeses. The ideal serving temperature is 11ºC; fantastic on a warm summer day!
