These wines are included in this gift:

• Domaine de Chatenoy Classique Menetou-Salon blanc: The westernmost village of this trio is Menetou-Salon. The soil of the vineyards producing this wine contains a lot of calcareous clay, making the wine deliciously fruity and supple. This 100% Sauvignon Blanc bursts out of the glass with typical Sauvignon aromas of boxwood and green apple, enriched with a hint of floral notes. Delightfully juicy and fresh with a lingering finish. Ideal as an aperitif or with pure fish, shellfish, or crustaceans.
• Domaine Nicolas Millet Sancerre Les Garennes: A little further to the east, towards the bend of the Loire River, lies the village of Sancerre. Here too, the vineyard soil is full of limestone, but the soil consists more of stone than clay, resulting in a tighter and drier wine. This Sancerre is a pristine Sauvignon Blanc. Delicious citrus freshness, beautiful minerality, and a light floral note. A lovely, long finish that you will keep enjoying. This wine is also the ideal companion for shellfish but can also be enjoyed perfectly well as an aperitif.
• Domaine Thibault Pouilly Fumé: Another interesting name that makes you wonder, what is it actually? Pouilly Fumé is always made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc and owes its name to the strip of flint (Fumé) that runs through the soil of this area. The village of Pouilly-sur-Loire is situated next to Sancerre on the Loire River and therefore shares many similarities with a Sancerre. What distinguishes this wine are the smoky notes brought by the flint. Furthermore, the taste is deliciously fruity—think green apple, blackcurrant, and citrus—but also elegant thanks to the minerality. In addition to pairing very well with shellfish, it also pairs excellently with grilled meat. Preferably white meat, so that the grilled notes come through well.
