The Zenato Bardolino Chiaretto Rosato is a delicious Italian dry rosé from the renowned Zenato winery. Made from the same grapes (65% Corvina Veronese, 25% Rondinella and 10% Molinara). Just like in the Valpolicella and even the Amarone wijn. The wine has a beautiful coral pink color, with red fruit on the nose and palate, such as raspberries, strawberries, and lychee. Light and delightfully smooth. Very accessible with a refined taste that matches its lively strawberry and watermelon characteristics. Medium-bodied, juicy, layered, and a perfectly balanced rosé that is hard to resist. Moreover, it is the perfect dry alternative to that sea of easy-drinking commercial rosés. In any case, top-notch for a quick summer drink. It simply doesn't get much better than this.
Wonderful for on the canals. But don't forget the cooler with delicious Italian antipasti. It also goes perfectly with Vitello Tonnato.
The Zenato Bardolino Chiaretto Rosato is produced by the renowned Zenato winery. The vineyards are located on the southeast side from Lake Garda. In this pristine setting, the gate of Tenuta Santa Cristina opens onto a wide avenue, dotted with elegant red rose bushes. Moreover, it is the silent sentinels (mildew indicators) that watch over the health of the Zenato family's rows of vines.
And what has happened in this little corner of the world is all thanks to the extraordinary intuition and entrepreneurial spirit of Luigi Zenato. In love with his terroir and strongly convinced of the quality of the wines that only this land can express.
Today, the Zenato vineyards extend over 95 hectares on the Zenato di San Cristina estate in San Benedetto di Lugana, suitable for Trebbiano di Lugana, and on the Costalunga estate in Valpolicella, home to the famous Amarone Zenato, where the renowned Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara vines are planted.
