Named best white wine by wine magazine Proefschrift

The organic white wine Fasoli Gino Pieve Vecchia Bianco Veronese has been named Best White Wine of the Year under €20 by the Proefschrift Wine Competition. An organic wine from old vines using the local Garganega grape. Furthermore, the grapes are harvested at three stages of ripeness: early, perfectly ripe, and overripe. The wine undergoes light oak aging. In short, pure craftsmanship!

This beautiful Soave has a lovely complexity: vanilla, butter, orange, apricot, and honey. On the palate, a full-bodied, dry wine. Again the apricot, the stone fruit. A very deep, pleasant bitterness at the finish. What layers of complexity. With this wine, Gino Fasoli truly demonstrates his craftsmanship: old vines, a fairly late harvest, and oak aging. A full-bodied, aromatic white wine.

The Fasoli Gino Pieve Vecchia Bianco Veronese ages sur lie for 6 months in oak barrels and 6 months in the bottle. Powerful, concentrated, and complex flavour with plenty of white fruit on the nose and palate; freshness and roundness; a subtle oxidative note and beautifully integrated wood. Long finish on the palate and palate.

    About Fasoli

In 1925, grandfather Amadio was a pioneer of the Fasoli wine company. It was he who planted the vines and personally produced high-quality wine from them. At the time, he sold this to the best dining establishments in cities such as Verona, Vicenza, and Padua. He transported it in small wooden barrels by horse and cart. Son Gino and brother Gigi build upon their father's knowledge and experience and continue the good reputation. In 1980, the Fasoli family began organic viticulture, and since 1984, all vineyards have been organic, receiving official organic certification in 1990.
