Sabine and Fred Prinz have created a fantastic wine with this Riesling Trocken. Light and fresh with aromas of pineapple, green apple, and orange. In addition, a beautifully structured mineral tension and a crystal-clear finish. With a royal allure that only Queen Maxima exudes. It is not for nothing that Riesling is called the queen of grapes.
The warm summers, mild winters, and misty autumn days make it possible to produce various types of Rieslings in the Rheingau. The terroir consists primarily of loam- and sandy plots along the banks of the Rhine. The Sabine and Fred Prinz winery is located in the municipality of Hallgarten, the highest part of the Rheingau. Initially, their estate was one and a half hectares in size; today, the six hectares of vineyards extend across the Hallgartener Hendelberg, Jungfer, and Schönhell. The vineyards have a favorable southern exposure, allowing the grapes to develop optimally. Prinz ferments the grapes at a low temperature in stainless steel tanks. Subsequently, the wine ages for a further 3 to 10 weeks in stainless steel.
Prinz Riesling Trocken is a delicious wine for any moment. Ideal as an aperitif and, for example, with a light lunch.
The wine Prinz Riesling Trocken received 91 points from James Suckling.
