    Delicious Primitivo Gem

This organic Integro Primitivo Puglia stands out for its excellent price-quality ratio. The Integro Primitivo Puglia is bright ruby red with a hint of purple. The wine has a sultry sweet and fruity aroma, fruit jelly, blackberries, dark chocolate. On the palate it is also sultry and rich, with lots of fruit and a soft finish where the chocolate notes come to the fore again. In short, not difficult, no fuss, but very accessible and just really delicious!

The wine is fine to drink on its own, but it really shines with some stewed meat. For example, braised veal cheek with a sticky gravy and onion compote. Ossobuco is also a very good partner. And if the kids want a salami pizza… fine by all, it can handle it all!

    The heel of Italy

It (or is it a she?) is made from 100% organically grown grapes from the San Donaci region, part of Salento, the heel of Italy. The wines of Salento are rich and full of flavor – the microclimate of Salento is perfect for producing deep and complex wines. The winemaker's philosophy is to be in perfect harmony with nature, to intervene only when absolutely necessary, and to ensure that every grape reveals its own personality.

"Integro" is the Italian definition for intact, whole, complete: with this pair of traditional organic Primitivo and Negroamaro wines from Puglia, we fully respect their origins by keeping the terroir untouched by chemicals or pesticides.

    A little about the producer:

The old wine farm at Feudo di Santa Tresa is 50 hectares in size and dates back to 1697. It is located near Vittoria, in southern Sicily. Since 2002, have Stefano en Marina Girelli They acquired the estate with the aim of restoring it to its original glory in harmony with the native flora and fauna. In addition to their winery, they also own properties on the mainland. The vineyard for this cuvée is located on the Salento peninsula, the heel of Italy. Here, the vineyards are pleasantly cooled by a sea breeze from the Adriatic and Ionian Seas. Over the last 10 years, significant investments have been made in modern, high-quality viticulture techniques. The local grapes also receive the most attention. Negroamaro, meaning “black-bitter,” is currently experiencing a true success story.
