• Château La Tour de By Cru Bourgeois Medoc: A classic Bordeaux from the highest point of the Left Bank: the Médoc. Year after year, Château La Tour de By manages to create a grand vin that rivals the great Grand Cru Classées! Made from the traditional Bordeaux blend: Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. A powerful, complex wine with a firm, grainy structure. The aroma and taste are bursting with ripe fruit and ripe tannins. An elegant freshness brings the wine into beautiful balance. This wine is ready to drink now, but it can certainly age for a long time in the cellar! Served with a fine piece of veal or beef, this Bordeaux truly comes into its own. Be sure to decant the wine an hour beforehand to allow it to breathe and develop beautifully.
• Château Rozier Saint-Émilion Grand Cru: On the right bank of the Gironde River lies the Saint-Émilion region, the home of this Bordeaux. The grapes in this blend are primarily Merlot (80%), supplemented with Cabernet Franc (20%). This gives the wine a much rounder and smoother structure than the Médoc. The wine possesses great freshness combined with pleasant wood and vanilla notes, red and black fruit, and supple, ripe tannins. An elegant yet complex wine with considerable length. Highly suitable with hearty dishes such as hare stew, sirloin steak, or Beef Wellington. Chill the wine slightly before serving; ideally, drink it between 15 and 18 degrees Celsius. Half an hour in the refrigerator is more than sufficient.
• Despagne L’Onde Rythmique Lunaire: A slightly less traditionally produced wine, but you can certainly taste the authenticity in it! Winery Despagne has developed its own style, looking primarily to the moon rather than the thick rulebook of Bordeaux. The location of this Bordeaux is called Entre-deux-Mers, or "between two seas." Hence the name: L’Onde Rythmique Lunaire; the rhythmic wave of the moon. According to the winemaker, this means that everything happens at the right moment and the right time. It is a beautiful wine without added sulfites. It is an aromatic wine with plenty of red fruit and a spicy, earthy touch. Delicious with a steak, fries, and grilled eggplant.
