‘The hill of the lindens’ is the literal translation of Colle dei Tigli. This delicious, fresh, and slightly dry white wine was given this name by the trees along the vineyard. The vineyards where the Lenotti Colle dei Tigli Bianco del Veneto is produced are located near Lake Garda, in northeastern Italy.
The Lenotti Colle dei Tigli Bianco del Veneto has a lovely, pronounced aroma. You smell a broad bouquet of aromas: tropical fruit, red apple, peach, and flowers. On the palate, the fruit and the hint of honey are beautifully balanced with the fresh acidity. A lovely semi-dry white wine with a soft and fruity finish at a pleasant price.
Colle dei Tigli combines two of Italy's best white grape varieties for this white wine: Garganega and Cortese. Garganega is the most famous grape variety of Soave in Veneto, and Cortese is used for Gavi in Piedmont. Lenotti planted these grape varieties near Lake Garda with fantastic results.
Colle dei Tigli is perfect as an aperitif, with light starters and intermediate courses, and with lightly spiced fish and chicken dishes.
Cantine Lenotti traces its history back to 1906. Even then, they were known for their Bardolino Classico. From 1968 onwards, Lenotti began significantly expanding its range, bottling its own wine, and investing in quality improvement and production growth.
Lenotti has a good reputation among wine lovers. Flavorful, high-quality wines that are also affordable. Lenotti is also known for the minimal addition of sulfites to the wine!
