Preferably serve this rosé well chilled at around 8–10°C. This ensures that the fresh aromas and lively structure are optimally preserved.
Manon Côtes de Provence Rosé is a classic Provence rosé from the AOP Côtes de Provence in the South of France. The wine is made from Grenache Noir, Cinsault, and Syrah and is known for its light color and fresh style. In the glass, you taste white peach, citrus, and subtle red fruit. The structure remains dry, refined, and lightly mineral. This is exactly the type of rosé for which Provence is internationally known.
Delicate aromas of white peach, citrus, and flowers dominate the nose. Beneath this lies a subtle spiciness from the Syrah. The Grenache provides ripe fruit and structure, while Cinsault adds elegance and freshness. This combination results in a rosé that remains light-footed yet possesses sufficient depth of flavor.
The AOP Côtes de Provence is located in southeastern France along the Mediterranean Sea. The Mediterranean climate, with many hours of sunshine and cooling sea breezes, creates ideal conditions for rosé production. The soil consists of limestone, slate, and clay, which often imparts a light minerality to the wines.
Rosé accounts for the largest part of production here. Producers focus on elegant, fresh wines with light color and refined aromas. Grenache, Cinsault, and Syrah play a central role in this. Manon Côtes de Provence Rosé fits well within this style: a fresh, aromatic rosé that reflects the sunny atmosphere of the South of France and is therefore pleasant to drink all year round.
