Oddbird Presence is a dry, aromatic white wine with only 0.5% alcohol. An almost alcohol-free wine with a striking amount of aroma, tension, and freshness. The wine has matured for 12 months and is made from a blend of 5 grapes: Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Sylvaner, Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc. That gives Oddbird Presence its floral character, fresh citrus, and light spiciness.
This is a high-quality, almost alcohol-free wine! Perfect for when you don't want to drink alcohol but still want a delicious white wine. On the palate, you taste white blossoms, lime, pink grapefruit, and ripe tropical fruit. Yet, the wine remains fresh and crisp. The finish is mineral, slightly saline, and elegantly dry. This makes it a serious (almost) alcohol-free white wine for lovers of aromatic grape varieties.
The grapes come partly from Alsace and partly from the South of France. Oddbird in Sweden has removed the alcohol from the wine. Oddbird is one of the companies in Europe that specializes in this.
Serve Oddbird Presence well chilled, around 8 to 10 degrees. It pairs beautifully with fresh salads, goat cheese, Asian dishes, light fish dishes, and appetizers with citrus or herbs. This wine also makes an excellent aperitif.
Oddbird Presence comes partly from Alsace in Northern France, a region formed by the Vosges in the west and the Rhine in the east. The vineyards benefit from long, dry summers, cool Alpine nights, and soils that vary from granite and limestone to clay and sand. These varied conditions ensure that the grapes ripen slowly, keeping them fresh while simultaneously developing aromatic definition and texture.
The identity of Alsace reflects both French and German influences – visible in the architecture, the food culture, and the winemaking traditions. Medieval villages, half-timbered houses, and historic cellars bear witness to a long history of viticulture, while the wines are known for their clarity, structure, and expressive character. This blend of climate, geology, and cultural heritage defines the aromatic profile and precision of Presence.
The Swedish winery is also known for its Oddbird Spumante Alcohol-Free
