The jury describes the Paco & Lola No 12 Albariño as ‘Brilliant. Stone-fresh, crisp, lively, and sharp: everything you want on the palate, and more. An excellent effort with seductive and satisfying lime oil, bone marrow, and crushed rock to finish. Excellent acidity with citrus notes (grapefruit and lime), white flowers (acacia and orange blossom), and an intense aroma of lychees. Very fresh, intense, and fruity on the palate. Elegant and inviting. Exquisite wine with a long, tasty finish.’ The Paco & Lola No 12 Albariño is the freshest, most fun, and chicest Albariño from the Rías Baixas. It gives you a good feeling about being alive and makes everyone smile when a bottle is cracked open! Well, dear people, stick a cheerful polka-dot label on it and it doesn't get any better than this! Oh yes, the wine is also organically produced. The wine is fantastic as an aperitif, but is the ideal partner for Gambas a la plancha, Almejas a la marinera, Conchas Finas, and of course Ostras, the oysters!
This delicious white wine produced by Paco & Lola is made in the Rías Baixas region of Galicia. Paco & Lola is a young, modern winery committed to a fresh approach to winemaking and the experience. We Are The Polka-Dot Wine, known worldwide for their sophisticated, fun image. Founded in 2005, Paco & Lola was established by a group of independent winegrowers from the Salnés Valley (Galicia – Spain) who formed a cooperative. Now with over 400 members, it is the largest cooperative within the DO Rías Baixas. Paco & Lola owns 220 hectares of vineyards spread across more than 2,000 plots. Today, Paco & Lola is one of the leading Albariño producers, known for its high-quality wines and distinctive image worldwide.
Galicia is located in the northwest of Spain and has a maritime climate with mild seasonal temperatures and abundant rainfall. The Designation of Origin (DO) Rías Baixas is located in the south of Galicia and is known for the exceptional qualities of its wines. Vineyards can be found near the sea and the lower reaches of rivers. Paco & Lola belongs to the largest of the five subzones of the appellation, Val do Salnés, which accounts for more than 70% of the total grape production, of which 90% Albariño.
