When celebrating, it is incomplete without a bottle of Quattro Conti Tre Forte Rosso on the table. It doesn't matter whether you are having drinks or organizing a festive barbecue. Even with an elaborate dinner featuring a grilled steak, this red wine is always appropriate. You are sure to receive compliments on this wine. Both the aroma and the taste score well with many people. Let yourself be transported to sunny Puglia in the south of Italy. The wine is best enjoyed slightly chilled. Quattro Conti Tre Forte Rosso is deep ruby red in color and is made from three increasingly well-known local grape varieties: Negroamaro, Primitivo and Malvasia Nera. You immediately smell and taste red berries with some roasted notes. A true Italian crowd-pleaser. Always delicious!
Conti Zecca is committed to respecting and enhancing the ‘genius loci’, or the special character of the place. This policy has ensured the growth of the company for nearly five (!!) centuries. Today, Conti Zecca owns four separate companies that have been added to the original business over time. The family's four estates, Cantalupi, Donna Marzia, Saraceno, and Santo Stefano (with a total area of 320 hectares), provide us with harmonious wines, including the Quattro Conti Tre Forte Rosso, which many enjoy. Each Estate reveals something different about the Salento region. For each family, the company's autochthonous heritage is its raison d'être.
Conti Zecca wines come from near the city of Lecce, in the middle of the heel. Conti Zecca is one of the few family businesses here. The family moved from Naples to Puglia in the 15th century, and they have been making wine on this estate ever since. Today, the descendants of Count Zecca run this business. They all still hold the title. Conti Zecca, which means Count of Zecca. A number of their vineyards are located on the coast. These produce lighter wine because the soil there is not as deep. The inland vineyards have deeper soil. The wines from there are somewhat fuller, with richer fruit. The Quattro Conti Tre Forte Rosso is a blend of grapes from both areas.
