An intense, black color with deep, sweet, ripe aromas of dark forest fruit, light licorice, and woody notes. Full, soft, and ripe on the palate with a long finish. The Sangiovese grapes are dried for several months before pressing, just as is done with Amarone. This results in a more concentrated juice, making the wine incredibly intense and full-bodied.
