    Typical Piedmont

Patrizi Passo del Bricco Piemonte Rosso is a red wine from Northern Italy made by the winery Patrizi. A deliciously fruity wine in the aroma, taste, and finish. You taste a beautiful, full-bodied, and balanced wine. Typically Piedmontese. And all that for this price!

This Patrizi Passo del Bricco Piemonte Rosso is a medium-intensity wine with a ruby red color and purple hues. On the nose, a full and persistent bouquet with aromas of red fruit (cherry, plum) and violets. On the nose, you can smell the fresh energy and life of the wine. Soft and pleasant tannins give the wine just a little more depth. Medium body, a delightful mouthfeel, excellent balance, and yes… simply delicious!

Patrizi: technology and tradition go hand in hand

Patrizi has a long and glorious history and is produced from only typical red grapes from Piedmont (40% Nebbiolo, 20% Barbera and 40% Dolcetto). The wine has aged for 8 months in barriques. The Patrizi winery is situated on top of a hill in Langhe, Piedmont. The winery is run by the Manfredi family: father ‘Pin’ and his sons Luigi and Freddo. It belongs to the modern movement of wineries in Piedmont and utilizes a combination of technology and tradition. They use the most modern equipment for vinification, along with traditional oak barrels and barriques for aging.

Patrizi Passo del Bricco with dinner

This wine pairs very well with various dishes. Try it, for example, with Melanzane Parmiggiane or Saltimbocca. Additionally, this wine is delicious with hard cheeses such as Parmesan.

    Did you know?

Passo means footprint, which is a reference to the walk people make from one vineyard to another to harvest the different grape varieties for this blend. Bricco means hill.
