Bellussì Blanc de Noir Brut is an Italian sparkling wine, made from 100% Pinot Nero. A blue grape from which white sparkling wine is made. You don't see that often in Italy. The grapes come from the rolling hills of the Oltrepò Pavese and are harvested entirely by hand. The Bellussi Spumanti house, located in the heart of Valdobbiadene, is known for its meticulous approach to sparkling wines.
In the glass, this spumante displays a subtle straw-yellow color, sometimes with a hint of gold. A fine and persistent pearly mousse accompanies every sip.
The taste is balanced, with a pleasant freshness that supports the structure. Fruity notes alternate with riper, more developed accents, giving the wine surprising depth. As a brut, this spumante is dry and clear in taste.
Bellussì Blanc de Noir Brut is made exclusively from Pinot Nero, a red grape that is vinified white here. The grapes grow on the hills of the Oltrepò Pavese, an area known for the quality of its Pinot Nero.
After manual harvesting, the grapes undergo partial cold maceration, followed by gentle pressing. This method preserves the freshness of the fruit and ensures that hardly any color is extracted from the skins, even though they are red grapes.
Thanks to its versatility and fresh character, this spumante lends itself to a wide range of occasions. Think, for example, of:
Bellussi Spumanti is located in Valdobbiadene, in the heart of one of Italy's most famous sparkling wine regions. In 1993, entrepreneur Enrico Martellozzo took over the house with the aim of further strengthening the quality and international reputation of the brand.
Since then, Bellussi has continuously invested in modern techniques, without losing sight of artisanal production methods. You can taste that combination of tradition and innovation throughout the entire collection, including this Blanc de Noir Brut.
Serve Bellussì Blanc de Noir Brut Keep well chilled, between 6 and 8 degrees Celsius. Preferably chill the bottle only shortly before serving, no more than 24 hours in advance. Store the bottle upright in a cool and dark place.
