Kuhlschrank auf, Schrauber oben auf  und Geniessen!

Yes, wine lovers, it's that simple with this Kesseler Riesling The Daily August! A Riesling that simply gives you energy after a long day at work. A wine that August Kesseler also drinks every day. From the vineyards of Eltviller and Erbacher, August Kesseler makes a Riesling with an enormous vibrant taste diversity: lemon, apricot and passion fruit. In addition to mango, grapefruit and vineyard peach aromas that hit the nostrils like a rocket. On the one hand, uncomplicated, dry, juicy and with refreshing acidity – on the other hand, “laserlike precision”! A little residual sugar adds a honeyed balance to the penetrating acidity. The Kesseler Riesling The Daily August is wonderfully refreshing to enjoy on its own. As an aperitif. But also goes very well with dishes with sauerkraut, with asparagus, poultry, shrimp, lobster, or pork. Also often an exciting combination and perfect with spicy and piquant (Asian) dishes.

Thanks to the screw cap, you can easily open this bottle anytime, anywhere, even without a corkscrew! Just make sure you always have another bottle in the fridge. We will, of course, ensure a quick restock if you place your order here. A top-quality everyday wine!

    Riesling in the Rheingau.

Riesling is the best-known and most important German white wine variety. Like Pinot Noir, Riesling prefers cooler climatic wine-growing regions (Cool Climate Wine Regions). It feels particularly at home on the bare, steep slopes along river valleys. The heat-retaining slate soils offer optimal conditions for this slow-ripening grape variety, which is characterized by its fruity acidity.

Riesling originates in the Rheingau, where the Carolingian King Ludwig the German (843-876) likely had it cultivated for the first time. From the end of the Middle Ages, this noble grape variety is believed to have spread from here to the German wine-growing regions. In 1775, Spätlese was discovered in the Rheingau, at the former Johannisberg Monastery. In the Rheingau region, Riesling now accounts for nearly 80 percent of the vineyard area. Depending on the location and soil type, this terroir-influenced grape variety produces white wines with various nuances, which possess enormous potential and have an immensely long aging period.
