This MIRADA Organic Rosé from Hammeken Cellars is the rosé wine of the year 2023! The 2022 vintage actually won the Grand Gold Bacchus! In Spanish: the Gran Oro Bacchus. The bottle itself is already amazing, but its contents are even more beautiful! A silky-smooth rosé, fresh and with pure elegance. Beautiful roundness, balanced, and made to be enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere.
The wine consists of 100% Bobal. The vineyards are located on the Spanish terraces in Castilla La Mancha, where an extreme continental climate prevails with long, hot summers. The vines have an average age of 15 years. The wine is harvested early in the morning to preserve the primary fruit aromas. Skin maceration is very short and takes place at a cold temperature. Subsequently, the wine ferments for 20 days, after which it further matures in stainless steel tanks.
This light pink rosé has delicious aromas of strawberries, citrus, and rose petals. The finish has a delicate acidity and minerality. This is a wine to enjoy both in the garden and in the living room. On the palate, the wine is delightfully fresh with red fruit such as strawberry and a fresh raspberry. The lime and apricot bring a fine balance of sweet and sour with optimal freshness. This wine is naturally a perfect aperitif but will also pair very well with seafood, fresh salads, and poultry.
In addition to the highly coveted Grand Gold Bacchus, Bacchus has also awarded this wine ‘Best Rosé’.
This Mirada Organic Rosé also receives the Gold medal from the Women’s International Trophy and Premios Baco.
