Barolo made by the famous Antinori winery

Prunotto Barolo is a famous Italian wine originating from the Barolo region in Piedmont in northern Italy. The vineyard is owned by Antinori in Tuscany. At Prunotto, they seek the perfect balance between tradition and state-of-the-art technology to create the perfect wine. Prunotto Barolo possesses everything one might expect from a fine Barolo: depth, complexity, and aging potential. This wine is characterized by its light red color, aromas of red fruit, leather, tobacco, and spices, and characteristic tannins that will soften with aging in the bottle.

    Prunotto Barolo

Prunotto Barolo is dry in taste and has a rich, full body. The red wine is made from 100% Nebbiolo. The aroma is immediately very complex and broad, with pleasant scent sensations of rose petals, red fruit, licorice, and spicy notes. There are also distinct earthiness and toasted notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied, very well-balanced, and features clearly present yet velvety tannins. There is power and richness in the deep core of this wine. It will unfold and soften over time (perhaps five years or longer). Furthermore, the Barolo Prunotto is a wine that, after opening and decanting, needs to "catch its breath" for a few hours.

    Prunotto Winery

Prunotto is a very classic Piedmontese company founded in 1904. In 1989, the Antinori family began its collaboration with the Prunotto company. The production philosophy, with attention to every detail and a great passion for wine, immediately unites Prunotto with the Antinori family, who are taking on a new challenge in this area—a new terroir and its ultimate reflection. Prunotto owns approximately 65 hectares of vineyards in the very best wine-producing zones of Piedmont.
Antinori is a famous wine family from Tuscany, known for, among other things, top Italian wines. Tignanello and Solaia. With this, Antinori has also become a winemaker in the prestigious Northern Italian wine region of Barolo. So you can expect something special from this wine!
