Southern warmth in your glass with this Nero organic Nero d'Avola

Sogno del Sud literally means the taste of the south. This wine comes from the Italian island of Sicily. It is warm, dry and sunny there. The grape Nero 'd Avola produces beautiful wines under these conditions! The Sogno del Sud Nero d'Avola has a deep red color in the glass, tastes like pomegranate and wild strawberries in the mouth. The aftertaste is soft and smooth with light tannins. Furthermore, it is a wonderful wine to cool down a bit in the summer for even more sultry fruit. The Sogno del Sud Nero d'Avola is a smooth organic wine for a very attractive price. Nero d'Avola is one of the best-known grape varieties in Sicily.

Delicious for every day, a nice glass while cooking. Friends visiting who are staying for dinner? Just always have a few bottles of this wine in stock at home. You can't go wrong with this Nero d'Avola. In the summer we would cool the wine a bit for some extra freshness and the fruit shows up a bit better.

    Winery Baglio Gibellina

The Baglio Gibellina winery is located in a completely rebuilt village Sicily in the valley between the hills of Salemi and Santa Ninfa.

Gibellina is a completely rebuilt village after the old one was completely destroyed in 1968. The ruins of the destroyed Gibellina are by the artist Alberto Burri buried under a thick layer of cement. In the artwork, passages have been left open at the old streets, giving an impression of the narrow streets of the original location. The theater near the work of art regularly hosts performances in the summer months. Truly a phenomenon to see that

The landscape consists of vineyards, olive trees, citrus trees, juniper bushes and fig trees. The blue of the sky and the sea on the horizon provide the backdrop for a mixture of colors that are typically Mediterranean. Moreover, the sunsets from Baglio are spectacular. The Nero d'Avola grapes for wine are picked by hand in mid-September. The vinification is in stainless steel barrels for even more fruit.
