The story behind this bottle

The Franc Lizêr Rosso 0.0% is the result of the craftsmanship of Lea Winery, located in beautiful Friuli. This modern winery specializes in alcohol-free wines that nevertheless remain true to their origins. Of the 104 hectares of vineyards, 17 hectares have been officially certified organic since 2022 – the rest will follow soon!

The entire production process remains in-house: from grape to bottle. Everything is overseen by an expert team of winemakers and oenologists. The carefully harvested Merlot grapes are first destemmed, then fermented in stainless steel tanks at ideal temperatures. However, the real magic lies in the innovative process of alcohol removal.

In 2023, Lea Winery invested in a revolutionary, patented machine that selectively removes only the alcohol using membrane technology. Thanks to the special, completely inert polymer membrane, color, taste, and structure remain fully intact.
