Do you want to drink something good and tasty, but at a reasonable price? Then you've come to the right place! Be sure to try this La Villette Cabernet Sauvignon. Made in a distinct Bordeaux style. This wine is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The grapes come partly from vineyards on the Mediterranean coast with a warm maritime climate. Another part comes from vineyards in the cooler southwest of France, right next to Bordeaux and the birthplace of Cabernet Sauvignon, where the grapes ripen slowly. The La Villette Cabernet Sauvignon undergoes fermentation partly at a low temperature and partly at a higher temperature. This is done to achieve greater complexity. Afterwards, the wine ages in oak barrels for 6 to 9 months. The La Villette Cabernet Sauvignon wine has beautiful aromas of black cherries and a spicy hint of cinnamon, elegant notes of licorice, roasted coffee beans, and dark chocolate. The tannins are super silky, making it an elegant and complex wine. The finish features refined aromas of cedarwood.
Strong wines such as Cabernet Sauvignon require strong food. A nice piece of entrecôte (with a nice fatty edge) from the BBQ comes at just the right time! Add some herb butter and you're done. In addition, it is also delicious when you are cooking.
The La Villette winery, a Badet Clément wine brand, was founded in 1995 by winemakers Laurent and Catherine Delaunay. It is based in Burgundy, with its headquarters in Nuits-Saint-Georges. Laurent and Catherine focus entirely on producing international-class wines from the vineyards of French Burgundy, the Rhône Valley, Languedoc, and Provence. In Languedoc, they truly work wonders with their Cabernet Sauvignon. After all, they are driven by a love for the earth and, at the same time, a penchant for work well executed. And so are their wines!
Tradition and innovation come together beautifully here. By staying abreast of market needs and paying attention to our environment, they regard our wines as true moments of drinking pleasure for those who taste them.
