    Tinazzi San Giorgio Dysmè Fiano

Tinazzi San Giorgio Dysmè Fiano is an elegant white wine from Puglia, made from 100% fiano. Those wishing to learn more about Tinazzi San Giorgio Dysmè Fiano will discover that the name Dysmè is Greek for “sunset” and refers to the intense, changing colors of that time of day. The grapes come from selected vineyards in Puglia and carry the IGP classification.

Taste of Tinazzi San Giorgio Dysmè Fiano

In the glass, this wine has a clear, straw-yellow color. The nose opens aromatically, with floral notes and citrus accents of grapefruit.

On the palate, the wine is elegant and saline in character, with a distinct citrus freshness that prolongs the taste. The finish is balanced, with a pleasant tension between acidity and salinity.

    Grapes, terroir and vinification

Tinazzi San Giorgio Dysmè Fiano is made from 100% Fiano, one of the quality grapes of Southern Italy. The grapes are harvested in the last week of August or the first week of September at selected vineyards in Puglia.

After the harvest, the grapes are destemmed and crushed, followed by gentle pressing. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 14 to 18 degrees Celsius, after which the wine ages in stainless steel tanks. This approach preserves the freshness and aromatic intensity of the Fiano grape.

Delicious with / food and wine pairing

Thanks to its elegant freshness and saline character, this fiano is a fine companion at the table. Think, for example, of:

    • Fish dishes
    • Pasta dishes
    • Risotto
    • Shellfish
    • Vegetarian dishes
    • As an aperitif

    About the producer

Cantine San Giorgio is part of the Tinazzi Group and represents the innovative line within the family business. The winery in Faggiano, in the province of Taranto, was completed in 2020 and is equipped with advanced production systems.

Building on this modern foundation, Cantine San Giorgio focuses on typical grapes from Puglia, such as Fiano, Primitivo, and Negroamaro. Dysmè is an example of this philosophy: a contemporary, elegant white wine that highlights the quality of the Puglia grapes.
