A wine from all corners of Italy!

Vino Rosso Italia! Look, this is something you don't see often! The Pavonero Rosso Italia is a wine made from grapes from all corners of Italy! This special wine is a blend of 4 grapes originating from four different regions in Italy: Sicily, Puglia, Abruzzo, and Trentino. Merlot, Primitivo, Montepulciano, and Nero d’Avola! From high and low, a bit of everything... without a vintage year and without a designation of origin. And she does it that way on purpose. Made this wine to mark the anniversary year of the country of Italy. And subsequently sourced the grapes for it from all corners of the boot. Sultry ripeness and fresh acidity and bite and... well, it's just all in there!

A terribly delicious blend. A powerful, dark red wine with an intense nose featuring notes of ripe cherries, candied plums, mocha, and tobacco, and a powerful taste with a sultry, round mouthfeel. We also see multiple methods used side by side in the vinification. Aging in stainless steel as well as new oak. A good amount of tannins that hold it all together well. No, this is definitely not just a collection of leftovers, but a thoughtfully conceived plan to capture the fingerprint of Italian wine in a single glass. And we think: they succeeded!

Pizza, pasta with tomato sauces and lasagne. It doesn't matter, it goes well with everything. In the summer, serve the Pavonero Rosso Italia slightly chilled, and every get-together instantly turns into a wild Italian party. Si, une grande festa con tutti amici!

    Geografico

The company ‘Agricoltori del Chianti Geografico’ was founded in 1961. It was a cooperative that has since been acquired by the firm Piccini. At Geografico, every vineyard coming under management is evaluated by the geologist and the vineyard specialist. They provide advice on the best grape varieties and rootstocks. Subsequently, they assist the owner with vineyard layout and provide continuous vineyard management. An expert winemaking team produces the wine. Finally, there are state-of-the-art bottling lines. This philosophy of quality is combined with a focus on the terroir: the grapes for the higher-end wines consistently come from a single vineyard and are therefore named after their estate. The wines are produced in a classic manner with minimal intervention in the vinification process.

This results in honest wines, pleasant-drinking wines that are also competitively priced. The Pavonero Rosso Italia is a wonderful example of this!
