A beautiful selection of wines that are not only delicious with food, but especially great with good company. In this Easter package, you will find a combination of sparkling, rosé, white, and red wines that offer endless gastronomic possibilities. Wonderful to enjoy yourself, but also certainly a nice and thoughtful gift idea for friends or family who love wine and want to celebrate the festive atmosphere of Easter.
The wines in this package pair well gastronomically on their own, but also complement each other perfectly. Create your own multi-course menu, for example, and give your guests some extra special treatment!
This Prosecco is straw-yellow in color with a green reflection in the glass and has a fine mousse. Long aging on its lees creates a delicate note of freshly baked bread. This is the first note to appear on the nose, followed by apple, pear, and peach. Additionally, there is a refined impression of fragrant rose and acacia blossom. The fresh palate is smooth and round, with an extra fresh touch from some limoncello notes. Fine balance, delicate, and ready to drink now. Pour the Bepin de Eto Prosecco DOCG at 6-8 degrees into a beautiful tulip-shaped glass. Always a lovely aperitif, but it also pairs well with light Italian dishes such as various Antipasti.
The Calalenta Rosato is the Italian alternative to a ‘Provence style rosé’. This rosé from Sicily is light pink in color, with fresh aromas on the nose of strawberry, freshly cut watermelon, and rose petals. On the palate, a wonderfully refreshing taste with notes of fresh fruit and flowers, combined with soft, delightful mineral notes, followed by a long finish with refreshing acidity combined with fresh fruit. This Calalenta Rosato is delicious as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to various fish dishes, fresh salads, and grilled meats.
The grapes for Pouilly Fumé undergo a rigorous selection process to ensure that only the best grapes are made into wine. After this selection, the wine is aged in stainless steel to preserve its fresh structure for a long time. When drunk young, this is an extremely pure Pouilly with a sparkling light straw-yellow color and an effervescent bouquet featuring the characteristic aromas of blackcurrants, green apple, and citrus fruit. There are also aromas of asparagus, a delightful balance of acidity, notes of grass and smokiness, followed by exemplary length. Served as an aperitif—or at the table with the obvious fish, shellfish, and seafood dishes—this is self-indulgence or proof of sublime hospitality. Consume within five years of the vintage year stated on the bottle.
The Great Hamersma on this wine: One of the better ones I have tasted at all. Consequently, it has been designated a Star Wine even with such a price tag. Why? Smoked almonds. Ripe apples, mandarin, orange peel, tropical fruit, citrus, and an attractive nutty finish.
In the glass, the wine has a light yellow color. The wine is fascinating due to its floral aromas. Pleasant on the palate, with bright, clean notes. This fantastic white wine pairs perfectly with spiced dishes such as grilled prawns with garlic, roasted chicken legs, pasta vongole, and, of course, Pecorino cheese. But this wine is also a delight as an aperitif! Serve at a temperature of 12–15°C.
This Portuguese red wine is made from a blend of indigenous grapes. Highly interesting to try! Colossal Reserva from Casa Santos Lima is a full-bodied and rich wine with fine acidity, soft tannins, and a long finish of dark fruit and spices. The deep purple wine is characterized by plenty of ripe red fruit and plums, a light floral note, and distinct spice aromas. The wine pairs well with grilled beef, spicy lamb stew, or pungent hard cheeses.
Louis Jadot Couvent des Jacobins Chardonnay
Partly fermented and matured in oak, partly in steel, this harmonious wine combines the fresh fruitiness of peach, pear and grapefruit with the roundness of wood aging: buttercups and vanilla notes. Chardonnay has been all over the world, but it is in its native country, Burgundy, that it finds its best expression. This expertly crafted version delivers flavors of yellow apple, citrus and lime peel, with a hint of oak. This Chardonnay is ready to drink, although bottle aging will make the wine more gastronomically interesting. After a few years, more complex aromas and flavors will have been developed so that even heartier dishes can be combined effortlessly with this white charmer. Delicious with chicken served with mushroom sauce, turkey or trout topped with tarragon butter.
